Heidi Klopp
Pre-Junior & CanSkateHeidi Klopp brings passion, experience, and a genuine love for skating to the ice. Heidi has been skating since 1995. Over the years she filled various volunteer positions both on and off the ice before becoming a certified coach in 2017.
Heidi is a Skate Canada certified CanSkate and Regional Coach.
Growing up, she competed in singles, dance pairs and synchronized skating. She achieved gold tests in dance, skills and interpretive.
Her goal is simple: to share her love of skating while helping each skater develop strong fundamentals, a resilient mindset, and a lifelong passion for the sport.
Mackenzie Ansems
Pre-Junior & CanSkateMy name is Mackenzie Ansems and this is my ninth season coaching at the Exeter Skating Club, a place that has been like a second home to me since I first stepped on the ice at just three years old.
I grew up skating competitively in both singles and synchronized skating, and I’m proud to now guide the next generation of skaters to find their passion on the ice.
Outside of the rink, I work as a teacher and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Coaching is a true privilege, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to mentor young skaters as they learn and grow. Sharing my love for the sport with them is incredibly rewarding and continues to be a highlight of my life.
